frequently asked questions 

⟡ is the fabric used sustainable? woolson strives to use high quality yarn, no acrylic and polyamide*. we also prioritize buying from companies that are ethical and can trace the wool back to the farm it came from. woolson supports companies that have spinning mills that follow ethical, technical and environmental standards to create yarn free from harmful chemicals. we are completely transparent about the material(s) used. most of the yarn used is purchased locally in nyc.  

*polyamide has been used in one previous product however it was 1% of overall fibers used. 

⟡ are you accepting commissions? please review previously made pieces and send an inquiry on the contact page or on instagram. no designs from other artists and only commissions that align with the brand will be approved. all sizes can be made, base prices will vary for all products (depending on material and amount of time) and will be shared before moving forward. 

⟡ how do i properly care for my items? all crochet products must be hand washed with lukewarm or cold water, lay flat to dry. all items will come hand washed and ready to wear.

⟡ do you accept returns? we do not accept returns for refunds but we are willing to give store credit if items are returned within 7 days of arrival and in perfect condition - to ensure an item will fit properly please read the measurements in the description. feel free to message us on instagram about a specific item.

⟡ how often will products be released? woolson is a slow fashion company that strives to make quality over quantity. we are working on creating monthly drops so please sign up for the newsletter and follow our socials to stay up to date! 

⟡ are all products one of one? woolson doesn't follow or write patterns so even if we attempted to remake a design, there may be minor differences. this is something to embrace as each product will be unique in their own way. we also can't guarantee we'll be able to source the same color(s).
